The hangers seem to be sturdy enough for both my acoustic guitar and 5 string banjo. They are well padded. The banjo tuners go straight through the headstock so they contact the hanger but it doesn't seem to be an issue.
I attached them to tile using different anchors and screws then the ones includes. Works exactly as intended. Easy to bend the hands for larger necks.I installed only using the 2 top screws into a tile wall with heavy duty anchors. I could almost hang my weight off of it and it wasn't going anywhere.Even with the larger bodied classical guitars, the hanger protrudes enough to space the guitar from the wall perfectlyI would trust these with any guitar
Great addition to the wall.Use proper “heavy duty wall plugs” and pair with your own screws. I never trust the stock plugs that come with these type of purchases… especially if holding up your prized guitars!!
