I have some new high quality instruments I want to protect.
These stands (I wound up buying several) are stable with a low center of gravity. They're solid and won't fall over. The A frame is adjustable to accommodate body width.
I recommend these stands.

I had a concern from another reviewer that you instrument just may not be stable while in this stand. But I dont have that issue at all. It works great for me, and does exactly what I intended it for. My Ibanez 305 looks great on it.
