If you're always dabbling in guitar projects like I am (kit building, partscasters, etc.), these are a nice addition. They're not actually locking. They're beveled. Beveled buttons do hold a strap better than rounded ones. You get one set of each of three finishes. The screws are definitely a little longer, but if you're replacing your existing buttons, you can still use the existing buttons. Great price!
